Peoria Service Community Center
In a community that has been riddled with crime and code-named Danger Zone by locals, the 61st Street South Peoria Area, deserves a facelift. If we must see transformation in this area we must invest into creating meaningful opportunities for the local families, creatives and residents. By renovating an already acquired commercial property we can create a community center that is capable to sustain itself after the first year of operation. This center will include a Day Center Foundation - The Washington Brown Foundation that will function primarily as a Day Center for kids so their parents can be gainfully employed, a commercial shared-use kitchen- Smart Foods Cabinet, for disenfranchised chefs, a music studio to launch budding creative careers, a subsidized laundromart- Elite Laundromat for struggling families with a voucher card system and a family Hair care shop - Tulsa Hairtakedowns.
