Bring Commuter Rail to Tulsa

Trains are a more efficient and cost-effective way to travel, but most train usage in Tulsa seems to be used by private companies who are moving products across the country. Dallas/Fort Worth has the TRE, Trinity Railway Express, a nice train line that takes folks between Dallas and Fort Worth, while making stops at major destinations like the Dallas/Fort Worth airport and the Dallas sports stadiums. The idea to bring commuter rail to Tulsa, would be to connect Tulsa to Sand Springs west and Broken Arrow to the east. The benefits of such a plan would be two-fold: Cutting down on congestion for commuters to Tulsa, and allowing folks in those cities to utilize the rail as a viable option to attend sporting and entertainment events. This would be a nice addition to a growing city that lacks this type of infrastructure that people crave as traffic grows.
